About East Coast Commercials

The East Coast Commercials group was founded in 1987 by Don and Gerry Gulley in a small yard on the corner of Boundary and Beaudesert Roads at Coopers Plains in Brisbane. The Truck Division opened soon after on Ipswich Road, Rocklea.

• 1993 saw East Coast Commercials Cairns open on the corner of Scott and Aumuller Streets
• 1997 we moved into our 4 acre purpose built premises at 1169 - 1175 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge
• 2000 and we established our Trade-In Centre across the road at 1206 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge
• 2003 we opened on the Sunshine Coast on Nicklin Way in Kawana
• 2007 saw us expand our truck division on 2 ½ acres right next door at 1151 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge, giving us a combined space of 6 ½ acres
• 2007 we opened our Retail Service Division at our Brisbane operation
• 2007 saw us expand our range incorporating NEW Fiat Commercial Vehicle Sales, Service and Parts at our Brisbane operation

• 2008/2009 expanding the North Coast facility onto a purpose built larger site
• BIG NEWS! East Coast commercials are very excited to announce the purchase of a 3000 square metre property at 277 Scottsdale Drive, Robina, on the Gold Coast. Construction of a purpose built sales office, workshops and display yard is due to commence early in 2010 with completion due by mid 2010.
